Terms of Use
Last updated: 30 October 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and GAMEFRAMESPORT LTD ("GameFrame", "we", "us"), a company registered in England and Wales, company number 17476393, registered office: C/O Connect Accounting LLP, Raydean House, 15 Western Parade, Barnet, Herts, EN5 1AH. Email: hello@gameframesport.com.
They apply to the GameFrame app at marketplace.gameframesport.com and our website gameframesport.com. Please also read our Privacy Policy, Refunds & Cancellation Policy and Cookie Policy, which form part of these terms.
By creating an account you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use GameFrame.
1. Summary
- GameFrame is a platform where adult football players create profiles, and clubs, scouts and agents can find them. Players can also see noticeboards of trials and opportunities: openings clubs have advertised publicly (the Trials Board) and openings posted by scouts and club managers on GameFrame (the Scout Hub).
- You must be 18 or over to have an account.
- Player Membership costs £20 per month (Founding Members: first 30 days free, then £10 per month). It renews monthly until you cancel. You can cancel at any time online. Scout, club and agent accounts are free.
- GameFrame is a directory and software service. We don't find players work, hand-pick or recommend players, or act for players or clubs, and we have no financial interest in any signing.
- We are not a football agent. We don't represent anyone, negotiate for anyone, contact clubs or players on your behalf, or take any commission. We don't guarantee that you'll get a trial, a place or a contract.
- There's no private messaging between users. Club managers can post announcements to their own squad. Any other contact happens outside GameFrame, using contact details users choose to share.
2. Who can use GameFrame
2.1 You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. We check your date of birth when you sign up. If we find out that an account holder is under 18, we'll close the account.
2.2 You must give accurate information about yourself, keep your login details secure and not share your account. You're responsible for what happens on your account.
2.3 You may only have one account, unless we agree otherwise.
3. Types of account
3.1 Player accounts. Players create a profile, which can include their name, photo, position, ratings, statistics, club, region, CV, highlight clips and (if they choose) contact details. To publish your profile on the marketplace and use paid features, you need a Player Membership (section 4).
3.2 Scout / Agent accounts. Free accounts for people looking for players. Scout and agent accounts can browse published player profiles and post trials and opportunities to the Scout Hub (see section 5). Scout accounts don't have access to the Trials Board. We don't check whether a scout or agent holds any qualification or registration. If you act as a football agent you are responsible for complying with The FA's rules, including being registered where required.
3.3 Club accounts. A club account is a Scout / Agent account linked to a club registered on GameFrame. When you register a club, you confirm you're authorised to act for it. Every club is reviewed by us before approval. Approval usually takes up to 24 hours, and we can refuse or withdraw approval. Approved clubs can use Club Management (line-ups, tactics, match records, awards and verified season statistics). Club managers can post their club's openings to the Scout Hub. The person who registers a club confirms they are authorised to act for it. If the club manager deletes their account, the club and its Club Management records are deleted too.
3.4 Creator accounts. We may give free access to paid features to selected people (for example, content creators) at our discretion. We can withdraw this at any time, after which the normal rules apply.
4. Player Membership and payment
4.1 Price. Player Membership costs £20 per month. The first 200 players to start a membership (including anyone who starts their free 30 days) are Founding Members: their first 30 days are free, then £10 per month for as long as their membership stays active. The price shown at checkout is the price you'll pay. Prices include any VAT that applies. The free 30 days are available once per person: if you've had a membership before, you don't get another free period. Payment is taken by our payment provider, Stripe; we never see your full card details.
4.2 What's included. Membership lets you publish your profile so clubs, scouts and agents can find you, and gives you access to the Trials Board, the Scout Hub and the other paid features shown in the app. You can see a preview of the Trials Board and the Scout Hub before you pay.
4.2A How the marketplace shows players. Clubs and scouts find players by searching and filtering. The marketplace also groups players automatically, for example by position, card rating or how recently they were active, using only the information on their profiles. We don't hand-pick, promote or recommend individual players.
4.2B Ballers' Ballot and Challenges. Winners are decided only by votes from players and scouts (a scout's vote counts three times), using the published rules, such as the tie-break and the weekly win limit. GameFrame doesn't pick, judge or change winners. We may remove an entry that breaks these terms before the result is final; if we do, we'll tell you why.
4.3 Renewal. Membership renews automatically every month, and your card is charged each month until you cancel. Standard members are charged on the date they joined. Founding Members are first charged £10 when their 30 free days end, and then monthly from that date, unless they cancel first. We'll remind you before your free days end.
4.4 Starting straight away. When you join, you ask us to start your membership immediately by ticking the box at checkout. You keep your 14-day right to cancel. If you cancel within 14 days you pay only for the days you used (see our Refunds & Cancellation Policy).
4.5 Cancelling. You can cancel at any time in Settings → Membership, or by emailing us. Full details, including refunds, are in our Refunds & Cancellation Policy.
4.6 Price changes. We'll give you at least 30 days' notice by email of any price change. You can cancel before it takes effect. Founding Members keep their £10 price for as long as their membership stays active.
4.7 Confirmation. After you join, we'll email you a confirmation of your membership, its price, how it renews, your cancellation rights and a link to these terms.
4.8 These are the only fees. We don't charge players any other fee, and we don't take any commission or share of earnings from any club, contract or payment you receive.
4A. How the contract is made
You create an account, choose Player Membership on the Membership page, read the price and renewal information, tick the box to start straight away, and press the pay button. Before you pay you can go back and correct anything you've entered. The contract is in English. We don't keep a separate copy of your contract for you to access, but these terms are always available at gameframesport.com/legal and we email you a confirmation when you join.
4B. Terms for work-seekers
Some of GameFrame's services help players find football opportunities. To the extent that GameFrame acts as an employment agency under the Employment Agencies Act 1973, these terms are our terms with you as a work-seeker:
- Services: we host your player profile in our directory and publish the Trials Board and the Scout Hub (information about clubs and the opportunities clubs, scouts and club managers have advertised or posted). We do not introduce you to clubs, recommend you, contact clubs for you, negotiate for you, or act for any club.
- Fee: the Player Membership fee in section 4, and nothing else. We never take a share of your earnings.
- Refunds and ending the service: see section 4.5 and our Refunds & Cancellation Policy. You can end at any time; we'll give you at least 30 days' notice before ending the service ourselves, except under section 10.1.
- You don't have to buy anything else from us to use these services.
5. Trials Board and Scout Hub
5.1 The Trials Board is a noticeboard of trials and open positions that clubs have advertised publicly elsewhere, such as on their own websites or social media. The Scout Hub is a noticeboard of trials and opportunities posted on GameFrame by scouts and club managers. Both are available to Player Members. In this section, "listing" means a listing on either.
5.2 Every listing shows who posted or advertised it. Listings posted on GameFrame say "Posted by [name] · [club]". Listings we've taken from a club's public advert say "Advertised by [club]", with a link to the original advert. Every listing shows the date it was added to the board. We summarise the key facts in our own words.
5.3 We check listings only for safety. Before a listing appears we check that the club is real, that the trial is free to attend, and that it's for adults. We don't choose, rank or recommend opportunities, and we don't judge whether an opportunity suits you.
5.4 We don't act for clubs or players. We don't contact clubs on your behalf, put you forward for a trial, or take part in any arrangement between you and a club. You contact the club yourself, using the details in the listing.
5.5 We can't guarantee that a club still has a vacancy, that the details are correct, or that a club will respond. Always check the details with the club before travelling or making arrangements.
5.6 We only list opportunities for adults. We don't list opportunities open to under-18s.
5.7 If you're registered with a club, FA rules may require your current club's permission before you trial for or speak to another club. That's your responsibility.
5.8 Clubs: if you'd like a listing changed or removed, email hello@gameframesport.com and we'll act promptly.
5.9 We used to run an "Open positions" board where players could apply through GameFrame. It has closed. Past positions and applications stay visible, read-only, to the scout who posted them and the players who applied.
5.10 Posting to the Scout Hub. If you post a listing, you confirm that the opportunity is real, that you're authorised to advertise it, that it's for players aged 18 or over, that it's free to attend, and that any pay you mention is accurate. Players contact you directly using the contact details you include: GameFrame doesn't take applications or pass on players' details. Every listing is checked by us for safety before it goes live, and you can withdraw your own listings at any time. You're responsible for your listing and for complying with the law and FA rules, including the FA's rules on approaching players.
6. Club Management and under-18 placeholders
6.1 Club managers can add players under 18 to their club's Club Management as placeholders so that match records are complete. Placeholders have no account, are never shown on the marketplace, can't be found by search, and can only be seen by the club's manager and members and by GameFrame admins.
6.2 If you add a placeholder, you confirm that:
- you are an authorised coach or official of that club;
- you will use only the player's two initials (the app accepts exactly two letters), and no names, photos, contact details or other personal information;
- the player's parent or guardian has been told that the club records the player's match information on GameFrame and where to find our Privacy Policy; and
- you will archive the placeholder when the player leaves the club.
6.3 We may remove placeholders or club accounts that don't follow these rules.
6.4 Verified statistics. When a club manager records appearances, goals, assists and clean sheets for a player at their club, those statistics show with a verified tick. Club managers must record statistics honestly. Statistics entered by players themselves are not verified.
7. Acceptable use
When using GameFrame you must not:
- post or share anything illegal, including content that is threatening, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit, or that sexualises or endangers children;
- impersonate anyone, create a fake profile or misrepresent your age, club, statistics or qualifications;
- contact, approach or recruit anyone under 18 through GameFrame;
- use someone else's content (videos, photos, CVs, logos) without permission;
- copy, scrape or collect data from GameFrame by automated means, or resell any part of it;
- use contact details from GameFrame for anything other than genuine football recruitment, including spam or marketing;
- harass any user, on or off GameFrame, using information you found here;
- interfere with GameFrame's security or operation, or try to get around the paywall or our access controls;
- manipulate ballots, challenges, ratings or statistics.
8. Your content
8.1 You own the content you upload (photos, clips, posts, CVs, and so on). You give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, display and adapt it (for example, resize or compress it) so we can run GameFrame and show it to other users according to your settings. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for content other users have already shared or that we must keep by law.
8.2 We may also use your public profile or card (for example, a ballot win) to promote GameFrame on our website or social media, but we'll ask your permission first.
8.3 You confirm you have the right to upload your content and that it doesn't break the law or anyone else's rights.
9. Keeping GameFrame safe
9.1 How we protect users from illegal content. We don't allow illegal content on GameFrame. Every user must be 18 or over and agree to these terms. We moderate posts, clips, profiles and listings, and act quickly to remove illegal content when we become aware of it, including terrorist content, child sexual abuse material, threats, harassment, fraud and hate offences. We don't use automated scanning tools; moderation is done by our team, and we review every club and every Trials Board listing before it goes live. Where the law requires, we report content to the police or other authorities. We may remove accounts linked to proscribed organisations.
9.2 Reporting content. You can report any post, clip, profile or listing using the Report option next to it, or by emailing hello@gameframesport.com with a link and a short explanation. You don't need an account to report by email.
9.3 Complaints. You can complain to us by email about:
- content you think is illegal or breaks these terms;
- how we've handled a report;
- action we've taken against your content or account (for example, removing a post or suspending your account), including if you think we got it wrong; or
- us not following these terms.
We'll acknowledge your complaint promptly, look into it, and tell you the outcome and what we've done. If we removed your content or restricted your account and we find we were wrong, we'll restore it.
9.4 Your right to bring a claim. If we remove or restrict your content, or suspend or ban your account, in breach of these terms, you have the right to bring a claim against us for breach of contract.
10. Suspending or closing accounts
10.1 We may remove content, suspend your account, or close it if you break these terms or we need to protect other users or comply with the law. We may also close an account that has had no sign-in for 2 years and no active membership, after emailing you first. Where reasonable, we'll tell you why and give you a chance to respond first. You can complain about our decision (section 9.3).
10.2 If we close a Player Member's account because they broke these terms, we won't refund the current month (unless you're within your 14-day cancellation period, when our Refunds & Cancellation Policy applies), but we won't charge them again. If we close an account for any other reason, we'll refund the unused part of the current month.
10.3 We may stop providing GameFrame altogether. If we do, we'll give you at least 30 days' notice and refund any membership fees for periods after it closes.
11. Ending your agreement and deleting your account
You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Data & privacy. This also cancels your Player Membership. What happens to your data is explained in our Privacy Policy.
12. Our responsibility to you
12.1 We'll provide GameFrame with reasonable care and skill. If we don't, you have legal rights, and nothing in these terms affects them. For advice about your rights, contact Citizens Advice.
12.2 We don't exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law doesn't allow us to exclude.
12.3 GameFrame is a platform for players and clubs to find each other. We aren't responsible for what users do outside GameFrame, for decisions clubs make, or for the accuracy of information other users or third-party sources provide (including Trials Board listings and self-entered statistics), unless we caused the problem by not using reasonable care and skill. We aren't responsible for losses that weren't foreseeable when you joined, or for losses that weren't caused by us breaking these terms. We don't promise that using GameFrame will lead to a trial, a place, a contract or any earnings.
12.4 Otherwise, if we're responsible for a loss you suffer, our total liability is limited to the greater of the membership fees you paid in the 12 months before the loss, or £100.
13. Changes to GameFrame and these terms
13.1 We may update GameFrame and these terms only for these reasons: to reflect changes in the law or regulators' requirements; to improve security or protect users; to add, change or remove features; to reflect changes to how we run GameFrame (for example a new payment provider); or to make the terms clearer. If a change affects your rights, your membership or what you pay, we'll tell you by email at least 30 days before it takes effect (unless the law requires a faster change), and you can cancel your membership or delete your account before then if you don't agree.
13.2 The date at the top shows when these terms were last updated.
14. Other important terms
14.1 We can transfer this agreement to another organisation if GameFrame is sold or reorganised. We'll tell you, and your rights won't be reduced. You can't transfer your account to anyone else.
14.2 If a court decides part of these terms is unenforceable, the rest still applies.
14.3 Only you and we have rights under these terms.
14.4 If we don't enforce a right straight away, we can still enforce it later.
14.5 These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can bring proceedings in your local courts, and your local consumer law protections still apply.

Privacy Policy
Last updated: 30 October 2026
This policy explains how GAMEFRAMESPORT LTD ("GameFrame", "we", "us") collects and uses personal information through the GameFrame app (marketplace.gameframesport.com), our website (gameframesport.com), and the work we do to run them.
1. Who we are
We are the controller of your personal information.
GAMEFRAMESPORT LTD, company number 17476393, registered office: C/O Connect Accounting LLP, Raydean House, 15 Western Parade, Barnet, Herts, EN5 1AH.
Email: hello@gameframesport.com
We're a small company and haven't appointed a Data Protection Officer. Email us about anything in this policy.
2. Whose information this covers
- Players, scouts, agents and club staff who have GameFrame accounts.
- Under-18 players added to a club's Club Management by their coach (section 6).
- People named in trial and vacancy listings shown on the Trials Board and the Scout Hub, such as club secretaries, managers and scouts (section 7).
- Club contacts we may email about GameFrame (section 8).
- Visitors to our website and people who email us.
3. What we collect and why
Account information (all users)
- What: name, email address, password (stored securely by our login provider; we can't see it), date of birth, account type.
- Why: to create and secure your account, and to check that you are 18 or over. Your date of birth is used for the age check and to calculate the age shown on a player profile. It is never shown to other users.
- Lawful basis: contract (we need it to provide GameFrame to you) and legitimate interests (keeping GameFrame adults-only and safe).
- Required: you must give your name, email address and date of birth to create an account. Without them we can't create it. Everything else on your profile is optional.
Player profiles
- What: what you add to your profile: name, photo, position, preferred foot, height, bio, availability, club history, region, ratings, statistics, kit number, CV and highlight clips. Scouts can also create a scout profile (photo, club, title, bio, region, years scouting), post on the Network and post listings to the Scout Hub.
- Why: to show your profile to clubs, scouts and agents so they can find you, and to run GameFrame features such as player cards, XP, ballots, challenges and the trophy cabinet.
- Lawful basis: contract.
- Please don't include health or medical information (such as injury details), or anything about your ethnicity, religion or similar sensitive matters, in your bio, CV or posts. We don't need it.
Contact details you choose to share
- What: email, phone, WhatsApp, Instagram.
- Why: so clubs and scouts can contact you directly, outside GameFrame. We have no private messaging. You switch contact details on or off in your profile editor; scouts can share contact details the same way.
- Lawful basis: contract. You decide whether to share them and can switch them off at any time in your settings.
Membership and payments
- What: your membership status, plan, payment dates, and a record that you ticked the checkout consent box (with the date and the version of the wording you agreed to). Your card details are handled by Stripe; we never see or store them.
- Why: to take payments, give you access to paid features, handle cancellations and refunds, and keep records we need by law.
- Lawful basis: contract and legal obligation (tax, accounting and consumer law records).
Club Management
- What: club name and badge, line-ups, formations, tactics, match results, scorers, appearances, Man of the Match awards, the club's badge colour, verified statistics and coach announcements.
- Why: to run Club Management for the club and to show verified statistics on players' profiles.
- Lawful basis: contract (for the club and its players) and legitimate interests.
How you use GameFrame
- What: when you were last active (shown to signed-in users, so clubs can see who's active); when your profile is viewed and by which account; reports you make; actions we take on reports.
Shortlists and notes
- What: scouts and clubs can save players to shortlists and add private notes about them. Only the scout who wrote them (and GameFrame admins) can see them.
- Why and lawful basis: to let scouts organise their own recruitment (legitimate interests).
Old messages
- What: GameFrame used to have private messaging. It's closed, but messages sent before it closed are kept, can't be seen by other users, and are included if you ask for a copy of your data. They're deleted when your account is deleted.
- Why: to show clubs who is active, to show players how many times their profile has been viewed (players see when, not who), to keep GameFrame secure, and to meet our online safety duties.
- Lawful basis: legitimate interests and legal obligation (Online Safety Act 2023).
- We don't use analytics or advertising tracking. See our Cookie Policy.
Emails and support
- What: messages you send us and our replies.
- Why: to answer you and handle complaints.
- Lawful basis: legitimate interests.
4. Who can see your information on GameFrame
- Published player profiles (everything in "Player profiles" above, except your CV) can be seen by all signed-in GameFrame users. Your CV can only be seen by scouts and clubs. Your profile is only published while you have an active membership or creator access (including while a payment is being retried), or if a GameFrame admin publishes it.
- Even if your profile isn't published, your full profile can be seen by: all signed-in users if you've entered a ballot or a challenge. If you applied to a scout's open position before that feature closed, that scout can still see that you applied and when, but not your unpublished profile.
- Contact details: if you switch on public contact details, all signed-in users can see them, even when your profile isn't published. Otherwise only you can see them.
- Ballot and challenge entries can be seen, and voted on, by all signed-in users, including after your profile is unpublished. You can't vote for your own entry.
- Verified statistics and the clubs they were recorded at can be seen by signed-in users.
- Challenge results can be seen by all signed-in users.
- Scout posts on the Network and their photos or videos can be seen by all signed-in users.
- Trophy pages: if you win a ballot or a challenge, a snapshot of your card (name, position, age, club, level, region, foot, availability, ratings, score, goals, assists, kit number) has a public link that anyone can open without signing in. Signed-in viewers can also watch the winning clip.
- Clubs: a club's name, badge, approved details, squad list and Man of the Match awards can be seen by signed-in users, and badges by anyone. Line-ups, tactics, match records, announcements and under-18 placeholders are visible only to the club's manager and members.
- Scout profiles (photo, club, title, bio, region, years scouting) can be seen by all signed-in users.
- Scout Hub listings, including the contact details the scout or club manager added, can be seen by paying Player Members (non-members see a preview without contact details).
- GameFrame admins can see account information where needed to run and protect GameFrame.
Anyone who sees your profile could note down or share what they see. Only share what you're happy for clubs and scouts to see.
5. Automated features
We automatically calculate player scores and card tiers from ratings and statistics, and pick the card design shown. These don't produce decisions with legal or similarly significant effects; clubs decide who to contact.
6. Under-18 players in Club Management
GameFrame accounts are for adults only. But club managers can add younger players at their club as placeholders so team records are complete.
- What we hold: the player's two initials, entered by the coach (the app accepts exactly two letters), and the player's match records at that club: line-ups, appearances, goals, assists and clean sheets. No date of birth, photos or contact details.
- Where it comes from: the club's manager.
- Who can see it: the club's manager and members, and GameFrame admins. Placeholders are never on the marketplace and can't be searched.
- Why and lawful basis: legitimate interests: letting the club keep complete match records. We've kept the data to the minimum, and given extra weight to the interests of young players.
- How long: until the coach archives the placeholder. 12 months later we remove the label everywhere, including match records, so the player only appears as "Former player" and can't be identified.
- Parents and guardians: we require coaches to tell parents that this information is recorded. To see, correct or delete a child's information, contact the club or email us; we'll act on your request.
We don't list trials or opportunities open to under-18s.
7. People named in Trials Board and Scout Hub listings
The Trials Board shows football trials and open positions that clubs have advertised publicly; we take these from clubs' public adverts. The Scout Hub shows listings that scouts and club managers post on GameFrame themselves, with their own contact details. Both are shown to Player Members.
- What we hold: the club, the role, and the contact details the club published in its advert for players to respond, such as a club email address or a manager's or secretary's name, email or phone number. Volunteers at grassroots clubs often use their own email or phone number for this. We only show these details to paying members.
- Where it comes from: public sources, such as club websites and public posts on X, Facebook and Instagram, or from the club directly. We record the source.
- Why and lawful basis: legitimate interests: helping players find the opportunities clubs have publicly advertised. We only use contact details the club made public for that purpose.
- AI tools: we use AI services from OpenAI and Anthropic to help find listings and pull out the key details. These services process the listing text and images on our behalf.
- How long: we delete listings, including contact details, 6 months after the opening closes.
- If you're named in a listing and want it removed or corrected, email hello@gameframesport.com and we'll act promptly.
8. Emailing clubs about GameFrame
We may email clubs to tell them about GameFrame.
- What we hold: club name, and contact names, work email addresses and roles, taken from public sources such as club websites and league directories. Our research tools (which run on Hetzner servers and use OpenAI) find this information for us; a person at GameFrame decides who to contact.
- Lawful basis: legitimate interests (promoting GameFrame to clubs). Where the law requires consent, for example for clubs that aren't companies or for personal email addresses, we only email people who have agreed.
- Every email tells you how to stop further emails, and we'll stop straight away when asked. We keep a record of opt-outs so we don't contact you again.
- Our first email to you links to this policy and explains where we got your details.
- We delete contact details if we haven't emailed you within 12 months of finding them, or haven't had a reply within 2 years.
9. Who we share information with
We don't sell your information. We share it only with:
| Who | What for | Where |
| Supabase | Database, login and file storage | UK (London) |
| Vercel | Hosting the app and website | USA |
| Stripe | Payments | UK, EU and USA |
| Resend | Sending emails: sign-up, password reset, membership, cancellation and reminder emails | Ireland |
| Namecheap | Our email inbox | USA |
| Hetzner | Servers that run our tools for finding listings and club contacts | Germany |
| OpenAI | AI processing of Trials Board listings and of club contact information we find (section 8) | USA |

These companies act on our instructions under contracts that protect your information.
We may also share information with the police, courts, regulators or other authorities when the law requires it or to protect someone's safety, with our professional advisers, or with a buyer if GameFrame is ever sold (who would have to protect it in the same way).
10. Transfers outside the UK
Some of the companies above process information in the USA. When they do, we make sure it's protected by either the UK–US data bridge (where the company is certified under it) or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum (contract terms approved by UK law). Transfers to Germany and Ireland are covered by UK adequacy regulations. Email us for more details.
11. How long we keep information
| Information | How long |
| Your account and profile | While your account is open. If you don't sign in for 2 years and don't have an active membership, we'll email you and then delete the account. |
| After you delete your account | We delete your account, profile, photos, CV, clips, posts and contact details within 30 days. Your name is removed from club match records, which then show "Former player". |
| Payment, refund and checkout consent records | 6 years after the payment, for tax and legal claims. Our payment provider Stripe also keeps payment records under its own policies. |
| Profile view and activity records, and notifications | 12 months. |
| Payment event logs from Stripe | 6 years. |
| Reports and moderation records | 2 years, so we can handle complaints and appeals. |
| Under-18 placeholders | Label removed (shown as "Former player") 12 months after the coach archives them. |
| Trials Board and Scout Hub listings | 6 months after the opening closes. |
| Club contact details for emails | Until you opt out (we keep the opt-out), or 2 years without a reply. |
| Emails to us | 2 years after the conversation ends. |
12. Your rights
You have the right to:
- access the information we hold about you and get a copy;
- correct it if it's wrong;
- delete it (you can delete your account yourself in Settings → Data & privacy);
- restrict how we use it;
- object to us using it on the basis of legitimate interests, and always to stop marketing;
- move information you gave us to another service (data portability);
- withdraw consent, where we rely on it.
Email hello@gameframesport.com. We'll reply within one month. If your request is complex we may need up to two more months, and we'll tell you within the first month. We may need to confirm your identity first.
13. Complaints
If you're unhappy with how we've used your information, please email hello@gameframesport.com first. We'll acknowledge your complaint within 30 days, look into it without delay, and keep you updated.
You also have the right to complain to the UK data protection regulator, the Information Commission (formerly the Information Commissioner's Office): ico.org.uk, 0303 123 1113.
14. Security
We protect information using encryption in transit, access controls that limit what each user and admin can see, and secure providers. No system is perfectly secure; if something goes wrong that puts you at risk, we'll tell you and the regulator as the law requires.
15. Changes to this policy
We'll update this policy when how we use information changes. If the change is significant, we'll tell you by email or in the app before it takes effect.
Refunds & Cancellation Policy
Last updated: 30 October 2026
This policy applies to GameFrame Player Membership, sold by GAMEFRAMESPORT LTD (company number 17476393, registered office: C/O Connect Accounting LLP, Raydean House, 15 Western Parade, Barnet, Herts, EN5 1AH). Accounts for scouts, clubs and agents are free, so this policy only applies to players who pay.
Nothing in this policy affects your legal rights as a consumer.
1. What you're paying for
Player Membership is a rolling monthly subscription. It gives you access to the paid parts of GameFrame, described in our Terms, including the Trials Board, the Scout Hub and appearing on the marketplace.
- Standard price: £20 per month.
- Founding Membership (the first 200 players to start a membership, including anyone who starts their free 30 days): your first 30 days are free, then £10 per month for as long as your membership stays active. The price shown at checkout is the price you'll pay.
- Prices include any VAT that applies. There are no other charges.
- Your membership renews automatically every month on the same date and your card is charged until you cancel.
2. Cancelling at any time
You can cancel whenever you like, online, in a few clicks:
Settings → Membership → Manage membership, then choose to cancel your subscription.
You can also email hello@gameframesport.com saying you want to cancel, and we'll do it for you.
- We'll confirm your cancellation by email within 24 hours.
- Your membership stays active until the end of the month you've already paid for. You won't be charged again, and we don't refund the rest of a month you've already started (except under your 14-day right in section 3).
- When your membership ends, your profile is taken off the marketplace and you lose access to paid features. Your account and profile data are kept so you can come back, unless you delete your account (see section 6). Some things stay visible to signed-in users after your profile comes off the marketplace: contact details you've made public, past ballot and challenge entries, verified statistics, and any trophy pages. Our Privacy Policy explains these, and you can switch off public contact details in your settings.
- Founding price: if you cancel and later rejoin, you get the founding price again only if founding places are still available. Once all 200 have been taken, returning members pay the standard price.
3. Your 14-day right to cancel
As a consumer you have the right to cancel your membership within 14 days of the day after you sign up, without giving a reason. Founding Members also get a fresh 14 days from their first £10 payment when their free 30 days end.
Starting straight away. When you join, you ask us to start your membership immediately by ticking the box at checkout. That means you can use everything from day one. You still keep your 14-day right to cancel.
What you get back if you cancel within the 14 days:
- If you're in your free 30 days, you've paid nothing, so nothing is charged and nothing needs refunding.
- If you've paid, we refund what you paid minus a proportionate amount for the days you had access. For example, if you cancel 4 days into a £20 month, we keep roughly £2.67 and refund roughly £17.33 (the exact amount depends on the length of the month).
How to use it: cancel as described in section 2, or email hello@gameframesport.com saying you're cancelling within 14 days. You don't have to use any particular wording, but you can use this:
To GAMEFRAMESPORT LTD, hello@gameframesport.com: I hereby give notice that I cancel my contract for GameFrame Player Membership, ordered on [date]. Name: [your name]. Account email: [your email]. Date: [date].
If you've paid and cancel within the 14 days, your access ends straight away when you cancel. (If you cancel during your free 30 days, you keep access until they end and are never charged.) We'll refund you within 14 days of hearing from you, to the card you paid with. There's no fee. This also applies if you delete your account within the 14 days.
4. Reminders before you're charged
- Founding Members: we'll email you before your free 30 days end to remind you that your membership will start costing £10 per month and how to cancel if you don't want to continue.
- All members: we'll send you a reminder of your price and how to cancel at least once every six months.
5. Other refunds
- If something goes wrong on our side (for example, the paid features are unavailable for a significant time, or we charge you by mistake), contact us and we'll put it right, which may include a full or partial refund. You also have rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 if our service isn't provided with reasonable care and skill.
- If your profile isn't visible to clubs and scouts within 60 days of you paying (for a reason on our side), we'll refund everything you've paid.
- If we end your membership for a reason other than you breaking our Terms, we'll refund the unused part of your current month.
- If we suspend or close your account because you broke our Terms, we won't refund the current month, but we won't charge you again.
6. Deleting your account
If you delete your account (Settings → Data & privacy → Delete my account), we cancel your membership automatically at the same time so you are not charged again. Deleting your account counts as cancelling. If you delete within your first 14 days, section 3 applies.
7. Price changes
If we change the price of membership, we'll email you at least 30 days before the change takes effect. If you don't want to pay the new price, you can cancel before it starts. Founding Members keep their £10 price for as long as their membership stays active.
8. Complaints
If you're unhappy, email hello@gameframesport.com. We aim to reply within 5 working days and resolve complaints within 14 days. We do not currently use an alternative dispute resolution (ADR) provider. You can also contact Citizens Advice for free consumer advice.
